Hope

I love the textures of this photo I took last fall. The wisps around the milkweed seeds are so delicate.

I named this picture hope because of the peril of extinction facing the monarch butterflies. You see these seeds will grow into the plants that the monarch caterpillars love to munch on before they enter their cocoon.

Last we only saw two monarch butterflies. Usually we will protect the cocoons from the elements and predators till they become butterflies.

Hope this year brings more. Hope…
